This place is such a hidden gem! Was craving sushi and this restaurant sat me 40 minutes before closing time. The sushi was incredible and so fresh. My server was fantastic and super attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Umai has become our favorite restaurant with my boyfriend. Our server, Luna was amazing. The food was great as well. They were also playing really nice music.

Bomb food and service. Incredibly fast, as they start preparing as your order is being put into the system (at least when I went and there weren't many ppl and it was late). Also love that they stay open later than many sushi restaurants. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
I came here at 10:30 pm on a Wednesday since I had a random sushi craving after walking the Beltline. I honestly wasn't expecting to be allowed to sit inside since they were closing in 30 minutes. I was informed that they were only taking pickup orders, but they allowed me to grab a menu and order from one of the staff since I didn't order ahead of time. It took about 10-15 minutes for me to receive it, and they allowed me to eat inside. They truly did not have to go out of their way to do this, so I truly appreciate it. Please note that my experience may have just been unique. I'm not sure if they would allow this every time, so please make sure you order pickup when it gets close to their closing time! Food: I ordered the Dragon Roll which is rolled with soft shell crab, and had slices of avocado and eel drizzled with eel sauce. Now, I LOVE eel so I knew this roll was going to hit the spot, and I was so glad I was right! I know my experience was unique since I didn't have a normal sit down situation, but I recommend them all the same since the staff was super sweet and accommodating when they didn't have to be in that moment!
